Back in the Saddle

Today I finally got a chance to ride at home.  Seems whenever I've got time to ride, it rains and when I don't have time it's sunny.  My weak link is getting on.  I've been working on that during the weekly lessons I've been taking up at the barn where I used to board.  During those lessons I've been getting off and on multiple times.  It's helped. 

Although I still miss Poco, I've come through the other side of mourning.  My passion and joy at riding are back - full throttle.  The one-on-one time I've spent with Bob at home has bonded us.  We head out with my Cowgirl Pals this Saturday to go sorting.

And as you can tell by my goofy smile (after giving Bob multiple hugs (and kisses) after today's ride at home), I'm back in the saddle!  :)

    Love Bob's purple halter - my favourite boy, Padre, has that same one in black with purple & pink design.

    Even though we have lots of snow on the ground yet in my part of the world, it is mild temps the last few days.
    Your picture of the view from aboard Bob inspires me to get out and ride today.
