More Spam!

Sorry folks, I've (also) had to turn word verification on - hoping to avoid getting so much spam.

Very disappointing that Google cannot address this issue and that we who use their service must put up with this.

Definately a consideration when deciding whether to invest in Google or one of their competitors!!!

  1. Technically its a free service, so we get what we pay for. One of my friends and I had a lengthy discussion last 4th of July about Google and Blogger (he works for Google) and he essentially said because it is a free service that isn't the back bone of their company that they put very few resources towards Blogger.

    1. Thanks for your response. I've had my blog for almost 5 years. I have close to 100 followers (at last checking) who view my "Google" posts. Surely a marketing opportunity for the company (should they choose it).

Due to the length of time I've had a Blog, Google informed me that I'd run out of storage space and could no longer upload pictures (even though I noted many of the pictures stored had been duplicated numerous times).

Their mechanism for 'house keeping' is cumbersome. In order to continue with future Posts (with pictures) I now PAY for additional storage.

I am advised that Google tracks my PC activities and markets my trends (and probably those who read my Posts).

They are getting return on an investment but not nurturing that seed. Sadly those types of poor business processes will eventually come back to bite them.

  2. I understand. I may have to do the same. It is very annoying.
