Vacation(?) at the Cabin

My husband's shovel and gloves, taken from the roof at the cabin...

  1. We don't have to shovel the roof here at the lodge.

The PERPETUAL GALE FORCE WINDS take care of it for us.

    I think I'd rather shovel...

  2. I'll have to ask my husband which he'd prefer. But after spending 2 days on the cabin roof (and still not finished), I'm thinking he'd take the winds. :)

    1. I almost said "The grass is always greener", but I think we BOTH would prefer the green grass...

  4. Cool ! When I was a kid and lived on the farm back then we had 25 foot snow drifts and the temps were unbearable . One winter after a storm we woke up to our front door with a wall of snow in front of it , now that's really digging your way out ! The climate has changed so much and so has the amount of snow we get each year nothing like it used to be, Have a good day !

  5. I don't know why Bill said we don't have to shovel our roof; we spent three days shoveling the sun room roof last year- in the wind; at least it was sunny at the time! I personally vacillate on which I prefer; usually whichever is NOT happening at the time.
